Internet-portal for ISTC

The International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) is an intergovernmental organization connecting scientists from Russia and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) with their peers and research organizations in other countries.

ISTC facilitates international science projects and assists the global scientific and business community to source and engage with Russian and CIS institutes that develop or possess an excellence of scientific know-how.

The developed ISTC Internet-portal combines modern design of a sizeable information site and

wide functionality of several related databases. It contains information about Regular Projects, Support Programs, tendering activities (Tenders) and all main company’s news and events (Newsroom). There is Partner Projects section, information for collaborators.

Connected to the portal databases contain great value of information about company activities.

These databases are being continuously modified and monitored by different persons all over the world. Part of the information is available for public view, the rest of databases are available only for the authorized persons. Thus, we created the special navigation system. To simplify information search we developed the complex system for data separating and search enquires creation.

The portal is being managed by our own product Ronix Web System (RWS). The product allows for users entering information and information types monitoring. The standard RWS version was modified and extended especially for ISTC portal data structure management.
